Save Video plugin for Internet Explorer - a convenient tool for downloading and converting videos from millions of web pages

After you install the Save Video plugin, on the toolbar of your Internet Explorer button "Save Video" appears. This button shows/hides the "Save Video plugin" panel on the left, like the History panel of Internet Explorer. This panel displays thumbnails of video files available for downloading (see the screenshot). When you watch a video on the web page, Save Video plugin displays a thumbnail of this video in the left pane. This means that the video is available for download. Just click the right mouse button on the thumbnail of video and select on the shortcut menu "Download Video .." to download it. |
Selecting a folder for video downloading

In the "Download Video" screen you can choose a folder to save the downloaded video to. To do this, click "Browse" and select a folder. Or, if you have created your own categories, you can simply select a category to save the downloaded file. What is a category? You can create multiple categories such as "Music", "Photoshop tutorials" and assign these categories to folders on the disk. Then it will be enough to simply select a category to save the video in the correct folder. To edit a category, click "Configure".
If you want to convert the file into another format, check "Convert", then specify the output file format, such as AVI.
Now click the "OK" button to begin downloading.

Downloading

After download the buttons "Play" and "Browse" will become active. Click "Play" to play the downloaded file, or "Browse" to open Windows Explorer with the downloaded videos. |
Displaying downloaded FLV files as thumbnails in Windows Explorer

Save Video plugin has a special module that allows you to view downloaded FLV files as thumbnails in Windows Explorer. Just open the folder with the FLV files in Windows Explorer and select View - Thumbnails.
Double clicking on a thumbnail will launch FLV Player with this video. |
Playback Videos

FLV Player allows you to play downloaded FLV video files. Drag and drop FLV video file(s) from Windows Explorer into the player for video playback. You can also use the menu of player "File>Open" to open the file, or "File>Open Category" for quick access to downloaded files. |
Convert after downloading

If you do not convert the file while downloading a video, you can convert it at any time later . To do this, there is FLV Converter. Simply drag and drop FLV video file(s) from Windows Explorer to FLV Converter and select the output file format such as AVI. Then click "Start" to start converting.
Support for the following file formats: AVI, MP4, MOV, MPEG, MP3, 3GP, WMV, ASF.
Also there are pre-configured formats for various devices such as the iPod, iPhone, iPad, PSP, PS3, Zune and others.
Just specify for which device you need to convert the video file and Converter will convert the FLV Video to the video file that is supported by this device.
